Camping at Mid America Motorworks

One of the things that has always made VW Funfest special is the ability to stay on-site and spend extra time with fellow Volkswagen enthusiasts. We're excited to continue that tradition for 2026. As we return to a simpler, one-day VW & Coffee-style gathering, on-site camping will once again be available for those who want to extend the experience.

Campers are welcome to arrive anytime on Friday, June 20, and may stay through Saturday night on the Mid America Motorworks grounds. Due to planned construction and utility work on-site, all campers are required to check in with Mid America Motorworks staff prior to unloading. Our team will guide you to designated camping areas to ensure safe placement for everyone attending. Camping at VW Funfest is intended to be a casual, community-focused experience. While amenities are limited, the atmosphere more than makes up for it. We will have overnight lighting and porta potties available for campers. Please plan accordingly, as fires are not permitted, and showers and electrical hookups are not available on-site.

For many attendees, camping has always been a memorable part of VW Funfest — from evening conversations to early morning coffee before the show begins. We're glad to continue offering this option and encourage everyone to come prepared, be respectful of fellow campers, and enjoy the experience. As we return to a simpler, one-day VW & Coffee-style gathering, we've focused on bringing in quality options to keep everyone fueled throughout the day while you check out the cars, tour the facility, and connect with fellow enthusiasts. Here's what you can expect on-site:

• The Traveling Mug

  Start your morning the right way. The Traveling Mug will be on-site serving coffee and morning treats — because let's be honest, we all need a little caffeine to fully appreciate a lineup of classic Volkswagens.

• Table for Twelve

  Looking for something hearty? Table for Twelve will be serving up meat kabobs and a variety of delicious grilled options that are perfect for lunch while you're walking the show grounds.

• La Terraza Express Taqueria

  Bringing bold flavor to Funfest, La Terraza Express Taqueria will be offering fresh tacos and authentic Mexican favorites. A great option when you're ready to take a break and grab something satisfying.

A Full Day of Cars, Coffee, and Great Food

With a mix of coffee, lunch options, and quick bites, you'll have plenty of choices to keep you going throughout the day. VW Funfest 2026 is all about getting back to the roots — cars, people, and community — and having great food on-site makes it even easier to relax, stay awhile, and enjoy everything the day has to offer.

VW Funfest has always been about more than just the cars — it's about bringing the entire family together. For 2026, we're excited to offer a Kid Zone experience designed to keep younger attendees engaged while you enjoy the show.

As we return to a simpler, one-day VW & Coffee-style gathering, we've created a fun, relaxed space for kids to be part of the Funfest experience.

Herbie Movie & Coloring Zone

Step into a little piece of Volkswagen history with our Herbie Movie Zone, where kids can relax and enjoy clips featuring everyone's favorite VW Beetle.

Alongside the movie area, we'll have a coloring station where kids can get creative and bring their own version of Herbie to life. It's a great way for younger enthusiasts to connect with the fun and personality that makes Volkswagen culture so unique.

Outdoor Kids Activity Area

We'll also have an outdoor kids zone set up with space to move, play, and burn off some energy. Activities will include:

• Soccer
• Open play space
• Additional kid-friendly games and activities
